About me
LeighAnn Tamplen serves as the Mansfield ISD Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) and College, Career and Military (CCMR). Working alongside a dedicated team, LeighAnn is committed to providing all students in Mansfield ISD with access to the most comprehensive CTE programs in North Texas. The aim is to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in college, career, and life. Prior to earning her doctorate in education, LeighAnn taught family and consumer science courses for fifteen years. This experience ignited her passion for helping students connect with opportunities that ensure success after high school. LeighAnn, along with her husband Jeff and son Zane, proudly support their alma mater, Texas Tech University, particularly during football season. In their free time, the couple enjoys exploring the outdoors, engaging in physical activities, and working on projects around their home.
